Hey, I'm 👋
Mitchel Hanchett

I build platforms and grow the partner ecosystems around them — opening partnerships, onboarding partners, and shipping the products behind them, with sixteen published books on the side.

About me

A little bit
about the builder.

I'm a technology entrepreneur based in Seattle, with an MBA (GPA 3.8) from Northwest University and a career that spans fintech business development, AI infrastructure, and blockchain platform development. Put simply: I build things, I break things, and I sell things — often all three at once.

On the business side, I grow partner ecosystems and close deals — I managed partnerships across 400+ global organizations at SWFI, sovereign wealth funds and ADIA among them, generating $250K+ in revenue. On the technical side, I operate a multi-GPU AI compute cluster, build full-stack platforms, and conduct smart-contract security research across Solana/Anchor and EVM.

I'm also a published author of sixteen books — from technical references on engineering and finance to thrillers, sci-fi, and fantasy — an independent trader across traditional and on-chain markets, and a writer and researcher for automotive media. Wherever I work, I like to own the outcome end to end.

Off the clock, I'm a lifelong gamer — I've created and modded custom content for Discord communities, from sticker packs to animated GIFs. 🎮

Build the thing.
01 — Build

Ship real platforms

Design and ship production platforms end to end — an AI-assisted professional networking platform and a multi-GPU AI compute cluster — plus full-stack development, from smart contracts to front-end.

02 — Break

Find what's broken

Conduct smart-contract security research across Solana/Anchor and EVM — manual source review, stateful invariant fuzzing in Foundry, and faithful, runnable proofs-of-concept for every critical finding.

03 — Grow

Close the deals

Drive full-cycle business development across 400+ organizations — sovereign wealth funds, ADIA, and $250K+ in revenue — convening global partners for international finance conferences while running demand generation, GTM strategy, marketing, and revenue operations at scale.

04 — Share

Write the manual

Author sixteen published books spanning technical non-fiction and fiction — finance, engineering, and science through thrillers, sci-fi, and fantasy; write and research for automotive media; and maintain an active trading practice across traditional and on-chain markets.

SWFI — Partner ecosystem & BD

Partner-ecosystem business development at platform scale — grew SWFI's network to 400+ member organizations by opening first-contact relationships, onboarding partners, and warming and qualifying each one before handoff, generating $250K+ in revenue. Ran the marketing and outreach and built the data and analytics behind SWFI's institutional platform. Convened sovereign wealth funds and institutional partners worldwide (ADIA, SkyBridge Capital & many more) for a major international conference — and earned a handwritten letter from the Mayor of Budapest for the tourism boost from bringing global partners together.

Koalaified — professional networking, reimagined

Founded and built Koalaified.com — a ground-up rethink of how people network and find work online. The idea was to fold the best of a social platform, a professional network, and a job board into one product, then rebuild it around trust: real, verified job listings instead of ghost postings, genuine connections instead of vanity metrics, and AI-assisted networking and career discovery that actually helps people get hired. I owned it end to end — product, platform, front-end, and the partner program behind it — with transparency as the default, not a feature.

Published Author — 16 books

Sixteen books published globally on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing — and the range is the point. From a 23-chapter guide to building lasting wealth (mindset, index-fund strategy, tax optimization, debt elimination, and the road to financial independence) to engineering and popular-science titles, all the way to a growing shelf of fiction — the Wolfe Protocol techno-thrillers, political thrillers, sci-fi, and fantasy. I write, edit, design the covers, and self-publish each one end to end, from first draft to launch.

Reviewed clean

Real audit work is mostly disproving attack hypotheses. Two production, audited protocols reviewed in depth — no exploitable findings, the expected and demonstrable outcome for hardened code.

Morpho Midnight

0 violations
Solidity · fixed-rate lending · $400k Cantina competition · formally verified

Built a stateful invariant fuzzer in Foundry — two solvency invariants plus a reentrancy attacker across 128,000 randomized operation sequences (takes, liquidations, bad-debt realization, fee claims, callback reentrancy). Result: 0 invariant violations. Harness on GitHub

MarginFi v2

No finding
Rust / Anchor · live lending protocol · $500k bug bounty

Reviewed the cross-protocol integration surface (Kamino / Drift / JupLend / Solend): oracle exchange-rate valuation (price and confidence scaled consistently) and withdraw paths with expected-vs-actual CPI reconciliation. Result: no exploitable finding.

Tooling stood up

  • Foundry (forge/anvil) — EVM build + invariant fuzzing, incl. bleeding-edge evm_version = osaka
  • Solana SBF toolchain — Rust + Agave cargo build-sbf, compiled a real Anchor program to BPF
  • Node / BigInt PoCs — faithful u128 arithmetic reproductions for root-cause proofs

Honest scope

The six findings come from the Solana Audit Arena — a practice arena of intentionally-vulnerable, AI-generated programs. They demonstrate real skill and method, not paid or novel disclosures.

Morpho and MarginFi are real, audited protocols; the clean results reflect genuine review, not lack of effort. Stating scope plainly is the point — it's what a serious audit team wants to see.
